# COVID-19 RESPONSE

Picture1

During the pandemic the Teluk Intan hospital urgently needed hospital supplies. We provided them 2,000 surgical masks, 48 bottles of 500ml hand sanitiser, and five standing fans.

Hospitals all over the country needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Hospital Kuala Lumpur provided the fabric for PPEs. This was transferred to us by the Malaysian Original Designers Association. The fabric was cut at the Nyok Lan Garment factory and stitched by the students from our Sewing Skills Centre. A total of 776 sets of PPEs were produced and transported to Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

Distribution of food during Covid

The Rotary Club of Teluk Intan distributed some daily necessities such as rice 10kg, sugar, flour, cooking oil, rice, instant noodles, milo, milk, coffee, sardine, biscuits, a total of rm100 to some elderly, single parents, and the less fortunate.
Due to the increase numbers in Covid 19, the government announced the movement control order 3.0 (MCO3.0). Many elderly, single parents and poor peoples are living in dire straits. We hope this project can help them to get through this movement control order. We delivered to their houses
