Meets every Wednesday 8.00pm at Lower Perak Club (LPC), Teluk Intan, Perak, Malaysia.
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
During the pandemic the Teluk Intan hospital urgently needed hospital supplies. We provided them 2,000 surgical masks, 48 bottles of 500ml hand sanitiser, and five standing fans.
Hospitals all over the country needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Hospital Kuala Lumpur provided the fabric for PPEs. This was transferred to us by the Malaysian Original Designers Association. The fabric was cut at the Nyok Lan Garment factory and stitched by the students from our Sewing Skills Centre. A total of 776 sets of PPEs were produced and transported to Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
