INTERACT LEADERSHIP TRAINING SEMINAR 2023

We are delighted to announce the successful hosting of the Interact Leadership Training Seminar (ILTS) on the 24th of June 2023. This dynamic seminar served as an invigorating platform for Interactors from four prominent interact clubs, namely Horley Methodist, St. Anthony, Convent, and San Min Secondary School of Teluk Intan, to embark on a collective journey towards becoming future leaders.

The ILTS commenced with great fervor as the esteemed Vice President of RCTI delivered a captivating opening speech, extending a warm welcome to the eager Interactors and their esteemed teacher advisors. Their presence and guidance set the stage for a transformative experience that would empower these young leaders to embrace their potential.

PE Rtn Tan Aik Kian graced the seminar with his profound insights, shedding light on the philosophy and rich history of Rotary and Interact. Through his engaging presentation, the Interactors gained a deeper understanding of the core values, mission, and the immense impact Rotary and Interact have in shaping communities and fostering positive change.

In addition, the esteemed PAG Fong Seow Kai Chuan shared his expertise on Protocol and Decorum, enlightening the Interactors on the significance of conducting themselves with grace, respect, and professionalism. This invaluable lesson equipped them with essential skills to navigate various settings and ensured they embody the ethos of Rotary in their interactions.

To further enhance their learning experience, the Interactors were divided into several groups, facilitated by dedicated Rotarians. This group setting provided a conducive environment for exploring the roles and responsibilities of directors within the Interact framework. Guided by experienced Rotarians, they gained comprehensive insights into effective leadership practices, fostering a sense of responsibility and nurturing their potential to lead with distinction.

The ILTS stands as a testament to Rotary's unwavering commitment to nurturing young leaders and shaping the future. By hosting such transformative events, we empower Interactors to embrace their passion for service, cultivate their leadership abilities, and become catalysts for positive change in their communities and beyond.
