DISTRICT GOVERNOR'S OFFICIAL VISIT 2023-24

On 31st October, District Governor Teoh Kwan Swee embarked on an official visit, engaging with our club's key leaders and members. Beginning with a comprehensive discussion on club administration and pertinent issues with the President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Rotarians, the day progressed with a delightful lunch shared among fellow Rotarians. Following this, the District Governor held a meaningful session with the Interactors from Horley Methodist, Convent, St. Anthony, and San Min Secondary School, where the Interact Club Presidents showcased their activities while also gaining insights from the District Governor about Interact and Rotary.

Later, during the evening club assembly, each Director presented their respective reports to the District Governor, culminating in a memorable moment as our new member, Rtn. Jaya Sooriya Yathal, was inducted into the club by the District Governor.

The following day was marked by meetings of great importance, notably with the Deputy Director of Hospital Teluk Intan, along with the Heads of the Audiology and Pediatric Departments, to discuss the hospital's needs and forthcoming projects. Subsequently, the District Governor also took the time to visit our gymnasium park at Padang Speedy and the Sewing Centre.

This fruitful and eventful visit served as a testament to the collaborative spirit of Rotary, fostering connections, sharing knowledge, and exploring opportunities for meaningful community projects. The exchange of ideas and experiences between the District Governor, our club, and community stakeholders promises a future of impactful endeavors.
