THE INSTALLATION OF 72ND PRESIDENT & BOARD OF DIRECTORS

We are delighted to announce the installation of our 72nd President and his Board of Directors for the Rotary Year 2023-24. This significant event took place on the 3rd of September 2023 at the Angsoka Hotel in Teluk Intan, marking the commencement of a new era of leadership and service within our Rotary Club.

Our new President, Rotarian Tan Aik Kian, brings with him a wealth of experience and dedication to our Rotary family. His journey with Rotary began during his time as an Interactor at San Min Secondary School in 2007. In 2017, he joined our Rotary Club, and his commitment to service has been unwavering. Prior to assuming the role of President, he served as the Youth Service Director during the Rotary Year 2018-2019. In addition to his Rotary involvement, he has been an esteemed insurance advisor at Great Eastern Life Malaysia since 2013.

The installation ceremony was graced by the presence of District Governor Teoh Kwan Swee, who served as the guest of honor. We were honored to have representatives from our sister club, the Rotary Club of Yala in Thailand, in attendance, adding an international flair to the occasion.
