On 1 July 2020 the Rotary Club of Teluk Intan held the 69th changeover on Zoom. This is the first time in the history of the club that a virtual changeover took place.

The event was attended by 85 Rotarians, Interactors and family of Rotary. Members from our sister clubs – Rotary Club of Yala, Thailand and Rotary Club of Southbank, Australia joined in the meeting.

The outgoing President Kee Wei Min installed Rotarian Subas Bully Baboo as the 69th President of the Rotary Club of Teluk Intan. The activities carried out in last Rotary Year are in the Souvenir Magazine 2019-20 which is posted in the website under "Information"

In his inaugural speech President Subas Bully Baboo said that he will provide committed leadership and achieve the goals. His main thrust will be on building and strengthening membership of the club and children's education. He said: "As we are learning a new way of life with Covid-19 pandemic, MCO and social distancing it is also sad to learn our children's education somewhat stagnated. Even when education ministry recommends home-based learning, without proper means, it will be hard for the mass students to cope up with the new norm. I would like to applaud our teachers and school organizations who took own initiative to bring the education online. But sadly, this doesn't cover all the student's, especially those who are in rural places like Bagan Datoh. Hence, I would like to introduce a program to make education accessible to more students."

The keynote speaker was District Governor Teoh Kean Swee. He updated the members on the District Goals.
