PETS SETS & TETS & 89TH DISTRICT TRAINING ASSEMBLY
We are delighted to share that on the 29th of April 2023, a highly significant event, the President, Secretary, and Treasurer Elect Training Seminar, took place at the esteemed Gurney Hotel in Penang. This comprehensive training seminar was deemed mandatory for all incoming presidents, secretaries, and treasurers of Rotary Clubs, ensuring their preparedness for assuming office before the 1st of July 2023.
Throughout the seminar, the esteemed participants received invaluable guidance and insights into their respective roles and responsibilities, delving into vital topics such as The Members Experience, What About Rotary, and The Impact of Services. This intensive training equipped attendees with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively lead their clubs, fostering a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
The subsequent day saw the continuation of the training program with the District Training Seminar. Our dedicated members actively engaged in a diverse range of seminars, including TRF Grant Management, Public Image, Service Projects, and Youth Service, among others. These enlightening sessions enabled participants to deepen their understanding and enhance their capabilities in these key areas, amplifying their potential to make lasting change.
In an inspiring afternoon session, our district team had the privilege of connecting with the esteemed RI President Elect, R. Gordon R. Mclnally, through a motivating Zoom session. The words of encouragement and wisdom from the RI President Elect, as well as the Incoming District Governor, invigorated our members, fostering a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to creating hope in the world.
With these transformative training experiences, our dedicated Rotarians are poised to embark on a new Rotary year, driven by a shared vision of service, fellowship, and positive transformation. Together, we are ready to make a profound impact, as we strive to create a brighter future and inspire hope in communities far and wide.
