71st Presidential Installation of Rotary Club of Teluk Intan
On Saturday 26th November 2022, Rotarian Gurunathan was installed as the Rotary Club of Teluk Intan's 71st President (Rotary Year 2022-2023). Rotarian Gurunathan joined the club on 16th November 2016 and is a businessperson who involves in the fresh and frozen food industry in Teluk Intan. He is blessed with three children where two of his children are now pursuing their tertiary education in Dentistry (AIMST University) and Business & Accountancy (Inti University, Nilai) respectively. His youngest child is now in Form 4 at Horley Methodist Secondary School Teluk Intan. He has served as the club's Community Service Director (2021-2022) prior to his current presidency.
District Governor Dr. Krishna Kumar graced the installation as the guest of honour. Amongst those invited guests were from our sister clubs - Rotary Club of Yala (Thailand) and Rotary Club of Brighton North (Australia). Others were the Presidents of Rotary Club of Greentown, Seri Changkat Jong, and Sitiawan. Interactors and friends of Rotary were also in attendance.
